The kids are heading back to school this week. Am I the only one secretly saying “woo hoo”. A strange thing occurs between little miss LGC and Master LGC towards the end of the summer holidays, they are able to irritate each other just through the exchange of a nano second length eye contact that usually erupts into some kind of war. Please tell me this happens in homes up and down the country?!
The start of the September term at school usually marks the countdown to winter for me. The countdown to Halloween, fireworks and Christmas. I’m a sunshine kind of girl but our recent investment of a log burner really is helping me to embrace the colder nights that will shortly be arriving. Here’s my living room in it’s full glory!
Perhaps these thoughts have influenced my choice in new stock? We have some new Halloween inspired gifts and some Christmas inspired gifts. So the choice is, Christmas or Halloween? What’s your favourite? It’s Christmas for me.
When I saw this mug, I had to buy it! My grandad was ginger, my uncles are ginger, my mum is ginger, my sister is ginger and little miss LGC is ginger. So this gift really tickled me and I think it’s tickled some of our customers as we’ve sold 3 before they’ve even made it on to the website! It’s the perfect gift for secret Santa 😉 (you can thank me later!). They are £6 each, they come gift boxed and are guaranteed to provide a chuckle!
Another perfect gift that won’t break the bank for £6 is this gorgeous white burner. It features a lovely pattern including butterflies. There’s a lovely detail in the dish and we love the matte finish! Again, it comes gift boxed so it’s super easy for Santa to wrap up.
Our final gift spotlight is for this cauldron shaped burner. We were specifically asked if we could source them and we have only 1 left in stock currently! For £12, it comes boxed and would look perfect on any side or shelf! We love it.
Finally, this is our next event if you are local. The Moulton Celebration Committee Facebook page has more details. It would be lovely to see you there.
I’m off to celebrate the start of the school term with a cheeky cuppa in peace with some carefully hidden bourbon cream biscuits. Well done to all the mums who survived the holidays! Victoria x☕ 🍪
