The Story So Far….
Hello! My name is Victoria and I’m the person behind all of the social media posts, the photos, stock ordering and packaging of orders! Lincolnshire Gift Company has been a dream come true for me!
I love cups of tea, cake, good friends and wouldn’t swap my crazy family for the world!
As a teenager, I worked in a local craft shop that sold a range of gifts as well as handmade items such as teddy bears and porcelain dolls. I loved every moment.
In my early 20’s, I taught myself how to make traditional teddy bears and went on to run my own events company with a friend, promoting local artists and crafters. They were very popular but then my first daughter arrived and I found that I didn’t have the time to come to it.
We’ve had 2 children, got married and moved a couple of times, things have settled into a rhythm. But the love of gifts and a commitment to affordability, left me with a yearning to set up my own shop. With the overheads being so high with the cost of living crisis, I know that a physical shop is probably not the way forward just yet….but you never know what the future might hold! So for now, we are running our dream online as well as attending local fairs.
Good customer service is at the heart of what I do. I get cross when I see poor customer service. Good quality is also important to me but also showing people that good quality can also be affordable.
